 Another quiet day for Brian. I hadn't heard from his doctor today, so after 9pm I called his nurse. She told me that the floor was busy with a few new arrivals, but not much to report for Brian. Brian had his sedation lowered earlier today and was showing Tidal Volumes around 120 ML. This is pretty good for him but he was also breathing harder than they would like. His nurse said that they would have to increase his sedation soon to even out his breathing. She seemed a bit rushed, so our conversation wasn't very detailed. Tomorrow, I will be back in Santa Clara, so I should have a clearer picture of how he is doing.
