 Brian appears to be recovering well from yesterday's procedure. They plan to start blood-thinning medication very soon. He had an ultrasound of his lungs earlier today. Unfortunately, the ultrasound showed multiple blood clots in Brian's lungs. The blood clots in his lungs are affecting his heart with elevated pulmonary arterial pressure, which is causing decreased heart function. His doctor is hoping that blood-thinning medications will help to dissolve these blood clots once started. Through dialysis, they are continuing to remove excess fluid. Brian's bilirubin had a small increase at 15.4.
