Not much to update today. Brian remains stable. He is strongly sedated so that he can continue to rest. His bilirubin increased to 17, which they are monitoring closely. The main focus continues to be to continue to remove as much excess fluid as possible. They are slowly beginning to lessen the flow of blood on the AV ECMO machine. His doctor told me that they do not plan to perform the test tomorrow on Brian's heart to see if he can be removed from the AV ECMO machine. They don't feel he is ready to try again. It will likely be early next week.
