Brian remains stable. He was able to open his eyes again today when his doctor was working with him. Brian has had lower blood pressure levels than what his doctors would like to see. To combat his low blood pressure, his doctors decided to lower the amount of the medication, Veletri, which has recently been administered to help his pulmonary arterial pressures. He remains on continuous dialysis to assist his kidneys. Brian has started to bleed again from his mouth and trach. Due to the bleeding, his doctors have temporarily stopped his blood thinners. His total bilirubin has gone up a bit again and is at 16.4. His doctor did say that they started holding up his IV nutrition for a few hours and then start it back up again and will continue to do it a while longer to see if it does start to cause his bilirubin numbers to trend down. It just hasn't started to do so yet. Hopefully, in the next day or two, it will help.
It’s awesome he opened his eyes again today! Continued prayers!
