Brian's doctors are continuing to make adjustments to his medications to balance his needs. They did have to begin administering some of his sedation medication to help lower his heart rate. When it gets too high, the ECMO machine for his lungs will begin to alert as it cannot function properly. This has happened a few times from the time I got yesterday's report until his report this evening.  Brian hasn't been bleeding as much today, so they started him back on his blood thinners. His bilirubin level is at 15.8 today.
