Friends and Family

Dear friends and family,

This is Brooke, I am helping my mom set up a blog to keep all our loved ones informed.

 As some of you know, Brian was feeling sick in the beginning of May 2021. Brian then tested positive for COVID-19. Friday, May 7th, Brian was checked in to the COVID wing of the Kaiser Hospital in Sacramento. Then diagnosed with pneumonia. The doctors have been giving him the most intensive care that they could. Due to his low blood oxygen levels, May 19th he was placed on a ventilator. However, doctors believed that they needed to be proactive. Being that Brian was on the most intensive care that the Sacramento Kaiser facility could provide he would need to be transferred. The Kaiser Santa Clara team prepared and transferred him over to their facility. Brian is currently being treated with an EMCO (Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygen).  

This is the current update that we have. As we have tried to keep those updated on the health and recovery status we have found that this is the best way to keep all our loved ones updated. We appreciate the love and support. As we all hope for the best. Brian is a dad, husband, brother, son and friend, we know that you all care and love for him also.  To respect Brian and his recovery, we will not be posting any photos of him while he is unwell. This is out of respect and to keep our best image in mind of our loved one. Brian has asked for us to keep him in our prayers. We pray for recovery and peace to be with him, family, and the doctors. Again, thank you for you love and support.
